Hello everyone,
Sophie here. I am a HUGE fan of the Sims three so I thought I would give my opinion on each game.
|| Please note - These are my own opinions so you might think differently to me & I'm only reviewing the expansion packs, not the stuff packs ||
Sims 3 World Adventures - When I bought this game I was expecting it to be a lot like the Sims 2 expansion pack 'Bon Voyage' however to my disappointment it wasn't.
The game allows you to travel to 3 locations, France, Egypt and China. The main aim of the game is to explore tombs. The tomb exploring is very fun and interactive however if you travel with a family of sims it's hard to focus on them all.
I also find the game can get boring and repetitive after a while.
Sims 3 Ambitions - Fed up of waiting whilst your sim goes to work? Then this is the perfect game for you. The sims 3 ambitions allows you to perform plenty of active careers such as a firefighter, a doctor, a stylist and ghost hunter (there are many more). The game is fun and I really enjoy it however it only works well when there's only one sim in the family as that sim will need your constant attention.
Sims 3 Generations - This game is alright but if you asked me what changes it had made to my game play I wouldn't be able to tell you. There are small changes with this game such as being able to pull pranks and use walking sticks but it's not going to make much of a change to your game.
Sims 3 Late Night - This is one of my favourite Sims 3 games, I can not sing its praises enough. This game comes with so many great features, you can become famous, become a vampire, form a band, go clubbing ,live in an apartment and so much more. If you like the Sims 3 showtime then you will LOVE this. I really recommend it.
Sims 3 Pets - This is a good game because it's lovely having pets for your sims. Not only can you get cats and dogs but you can also get horses and a huge variety of caged pets. If you're lucky you might even find a unicorn. Unlike the Sims 2 pets you get to control your pets so it makes them easier to look after.
Sims 3 Showtime - This is my all time favourite Sims game. It's so much fun. Like I said before, if you love Late Night then you will love this. The game allows you to become a singer, acrobat or magician. Starting off the career is a little boring but by the time you're performing on huge stages to large audiences you'll be having the time of your life.
Sims 3 Seasons - Having seasons makes your sims experience so much more fun. You can build igloos in the winter and tan in the summer. Every season there is a season festival which has actives to do with that current season (e.g a haunted house in Fall). I really recommend this to you.
Sims 3 Supernatural - If you enjoy more realistic sims then this game probably isn't for you. However if you enjoy the idea of making your sim a fairy/wizard/ghost/vampire/werewolf/genie/zombie then this game is definitely for you. One of the downsides to the game is the zombie curse, it can get very annoying.
Sims 3 University - I have mixed feelings for this game. On the one hand I love the whole campus life, it's so much fun getting to live in dorms. However it's really hard to keep your sim's needs and grades up. But hey that's life for you.
* Only young adults, adults and elders can go to university *
Sims 3 Island Paradise - This game is yet to be released (the release date is June 25th) but I have been watching the trailer again and again and it looks AMAZING. The game reminds me a lot of the Sims 2 Bon Voyage which is a good thing because I feel like World Adventures missed out on including this.
